<<I wonder how much these cost?>>
Just a guess, but I'd say <$100. WDC has said they are shooting for $85(in the MarQ98 CC) One interesting comment from the SEG MarQ98 CC held in April:

Q=> sub $1k PC, where do you stand, where is it going?
A - we mentioned that clearly SEG is very well positioned for that market due to vertical integration.
Product will ship this Q if it stays on schedule. It will be a profitable product, or we wouldn't be doing
it. It is a combination of technologies form several different projects. Phase 2 of that will be released
early next year. Phase 3which is the ultra low cost, but won't get into details. We believe that all
of the support infrastructure must be good too because it is an OEM product.

I think that "this Q" meant in the JunQ... Once again, vertical integration is great if you get it right. Looks like they've missed a target again because the PR suggested the SepQ. Of course I say this, but they're still the first to "announce" a product. Let's see who is the first to ship.
