I take a night off and things go to hell in a hand-basket around here. <gggg>

Whether most on this thread want to face it or not, Ray and LB are 100% correct regarding the significance of breaking the 50 DMA support level. However, I think the lack of confidence by investors right now is due to waiting for news that most people probably feel should have been released already. Doesn't matter if that's true or not, but it is the perception. Impatient short term investors sell and move on. This leads to more selling, and the technicals further deteriorate.

I believe HDIE is in a great position for future growth, big news or not. Unfortunately, without some news very soon, the price is likely to go lower and may take a while to recover. It will then depend on the next quarter's earnings release (unless news comes out).

Like Ray said, the one thing we have in our favor is the low volume that is taking it down. This tells me we are still basically in the primary trend, an uptrend in this case. However, we are in danger of reversing that trend. I speak for myself when I say "I would rather that did not happen". I don't want a firesale right now.

This reminds me a lot of TAVA when it languished in the 5's and 6's. A lot of folks lost confidence, but the longs eventually won.

Good luck to all,

rpm
