Thanks, GM. I guess that lends some credibility to my opinions based on my own internal mechanisms...of course, there are many around here who haven't much use for ANALysts' opinions....<g>I do find it hard to believe that weakness will continue at the same level until 2000. I doubt that the Asians would stand for such decreased utilization of oil for so long a period. We also anticipate a colder winter and there's still plenty of summer driving season ahead. As my friend Chuzzy so eloquently points out, cheaper oil = greater demand/use because it is cheap! This suggests that the current glut should diminish substantially by year end. If the OPEC jokers manage to slow production, it appears that there's a chance of more balance by year end.
