Hello Woody... I'm not sure I know what is meant by "weak hands"... that term has always confused me... Are we talking about people nervous enough that they feel they need to take profits while they can or they feel a need to cut losses? I suspect that is it... I should say, I have no special knowledge... so I can only answer based on my observations. First, I have seen absolutely zero evidence to indicate that there is widespread selling, panic or otherwise. The volume has been anemic for a good long period now, so there isn't much in the way of buying to prop the price either. Sure some people are selling... Rico shows that sells have outnumbered buys almost every day for a few weeks now... but, remember... the volume has been low. Most people are still sitting tight. R1 has told us that there is a huge short position... assuming that is true & was caused by the big runup in price starting a couple of months ago & you were an MM with one of those short positions, wouldn't you walk the price down to 1) reduce the paper loss from the short position and 2) induce people to sell so that you can cover. They can do this because they have the power and its a lot easier when there is no huge demand for shares. Not that neither of the reasons I listed has anything to do with the underlying value of DGIV... that is the lie that is built into the BB system. Again, I have no special knowledge of the market, but I too have wondered about what is going on... this is what I have reasoned out... how do you see it? Lazarus, getting ready to go to a class about employment law today... oh what fun...yuk!
