To Telephonics At this stage of the nightmare, your input and responses are well appreciated. I wouldn't expect the White House wanting any endorsement activity regardless of negative OR positive spin. Usually it is a no win situation since even a good product would give political opponents a field day. That said, there is still the "This Old House" approach, where the "honorable mention" for near gratis services given or provided at small cost, can parlay to great word of mouth. Perceived quality via "Killer Client" association. Again, we all appreciate you time spent, reasoning skills, and tech know-how with all of this. As to the analog VS digital and distance issues, I guess the question is: "do campus environments lend themselves to modest short distance applications"? The "distance diameter" aspect is important as well: The marketing of the products (which at this stage is merely component bundling?) would need sales reps savvy to the application requirements and system linitations. THAT said... When a decision table is made up comparing the systems available, how does SOE stack up against the competition? Granted, this is a field set to burst if it can become a "killer" application. A "Samsung" can do well against JVC so long as the comparatrive value is there. Weren't we talking about 12-25,000 $ applications as opposed to the SOE $6K area? Bill Kidston
