Why the huge volume of puts on an Up day ?? TI has traded 5815 July 55 puts (Open Interest 7221) and 7311 July 50 puts (13590) by 2:05 EST according to the CBOE. By contrast, the most heavily traded call is July 60 with a volume of 2837 (11671). Are MMs buying TXN stock and hedging their risk with July puts?
