HEY DEVIL'S ADVOCATE...
I'm not sure if you've read this, but please do, maybe you should print a copy and hang it up!
Please, let's end the bickering. As with every stock, there will be opposing opinions, and that's exactly what they are OPINIONS! Be glad that so many people are interested in discussing your investment, Mountain Energy. There will also be people who hype it up incessantly, and people who put it down incessantly, everyone has his or her own agenda. I believe in just stating the facts, and sometimes engaging in a little healthy debating.
Everybody is entitled to their opinion, and has the right to express it (freedom speech), as long as it doesn't state wrong information as being factual.
Regarding the concern of news releases and any progress in the area of acquisitions, financing, and the project of performing a land valuation, this will all be known in due time. Anyone posting a prediction on when this is going to happen, when that is going to happen, etc., is only fooling themselves. I make my judgement when I see the news come up on my service's realtime news thread.
As it has been stated before, by Macker, Mr. D.and a few other investors, Mountain Energy is not a " quick play ", and trying to make it into that might get you burned. It is a long term, long hold investment. The company has extensive plans for itself, and its shareholders, including, getting listed on the Nasdaq, continually seeking out mergers and acquisitions, and situating itself as a prominent energy company in the United States and abroad.
As far as trying to put a number on the bookvalue of the stock, many things must happen first, before that can happen, including having the land holdings completely evaluated, as well as estimating the costs involved in removing and getting the materials to the market. Yes, we can all estimate what it is worth, but to me, until we have hard numbers, the market will determine the value of the stock, currently .43 per share. This can change quickly and dramatically, as has been seen before. I don't worry about the day to day price, because I am not a daytrader, I am in this for the long run. I am also not worried, because MTEI is not even completely finished setting up their new offices, as they are concentrating more on the business end of operations, and this is important.
I have invested considerable time and funds into Mountain Energy because I believe in Jack Uselton, and his future plans. I also strongly respect and believe in MTEI's long term investors, as they are one of the strongest groups I have ever seen.
Thank you |
