Chris - now is not the time to be timid

Yes - it's nice to see the web page up and running (contract date for delivery was the end of the month).

I picked up another 300 NIR @ 2.05 this afternoon to add to my pile. Now that we are getting very close to blast off - I would not try to put in bids that are too low. This may now be the time just to go with the ask price - or very close to it - to ensure that you grab the shares - better to have a few less than to go empty handed for the day!! I originally had my bid limit set at $2.00 - level of the last sale when I was putting my order in (range between the bid and ask was then 2.00-2.09). Then I saw a trade at $2.09 - so I then immediately went half way with 2.05 - and grabbed 300 at 2:45 PM!! If no sale - then I was going to leave my order up for another 30 minutes - and if no action by then - I was just going to go with the ask price - or just a cent or two under.

We are so close to the big News release that I would feel very uncomfortable just to let my potential trade slide for the day - with the hope of picking up shares the following day at a similar price. What if there's a trading halt tomorrow? You could have picked up 1950 NIR @2.15 or 1900 @2.20 - instead you have zippo for the day :-(

The third quarter financial statement is due by the end of the month - but could be posted on SEDAR anytime now - and that'll add a few more ticks to the share price.

I would grab them while you can at these prices. I said yesterday that this week may be the last time to grab NIR at sub 2.20 - and those days may have now passed given today's close.

Chris - NIR is starting to fire up (again). Phone your broker tomorrow at 9:15 AM to see what the NIR open is likely to be - wouldn't be surprised to see it open at $2.30 - and then put your order in at the ask price. That's what I would do - better safe than sorry. If you do internet trading as I and many others do - it makes it so much easier to react to instant changes in the market.

Up to my neck in even more NIR paper here :-)
