BB's are Bulletin Boards. 4 years ago they were all the rage.

You probably have some local BB's in your own area. Contact a local
computer users group and test drive one. BB's are much like online
services but usually run via DOS. You can download & upuload files,
even do chat. They are still popular to those who can't use the internet.


Check them out. Many 8088 and 286 users still use BB's.

They are basically obsolete, just like on line service will be when the internet
get finished with them.
