WSB, The day we move to a system where ALL taxes including FICA are sent in to gov't monthly just like your mortgage payment and withholding is done away with - that will be a great day. . Are you suggesting that 100 to 150 million Americans should not have withholding tax (State & Federal), but must be obligated to go through the effort to make out 12 monthly tax CHECKS a year (federal) and I presume another 12 for the State, that THIS will be a "Great Day"???!!!! . For whom? The employer's payroll dept? (g) . Colin
