Mark,
I found this Dated June 10, 1998 for what it's worth.
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Morton Downey Jr. is moving from small screen to the silver screen.

The former talk show host has wrapped up filming on his new movie, "Palmer's Pickup," in which he plays a Devil-like figure in an Armageddon setting.

Downey, 64, underwent surgery in March to remove his right lung. He completed radiation treatments during filming of the movie with co-stars Patricia Arquette, Harry Connick Jr. and Robert Carradine. The film is due out in the fall.

Then it's back to the small screen for Downey, who this fall will have a new TV show titled "The Morton Downey Jr. Show: Where Enemies Meet," publicist Les Schecter said Monday.

------

Good Luck,
MM
