I've been invested in Borland/Inprise for over a year now. I bought with the anticipation of having the stock for at least a year. Looking back on the whole experience, I could have made a hefty sum trading in and out. Unfortunately, it's only hindsight that's 20:20. I'm anticipating some action this summer, primarily during the Inprise technology conference in August. It should be a very different crowd than the years previous. If there is a big showing from the enterprise crowd, I think we'll be able to say we've seen a transition from shrink-wrap dependence to a good mix of shrink-wrap and enterprise sales. There may even be enough news to get some deserving attention from the Street.

Interesting that the conference isn't really coinciding with a normal earnings release. There was a lot of speculation last year with people wanting to play the earnings game on Borland. There was a good pop in the stock price and some on the thread missed it..
