This sounds like a reasonable solution.

You should also compare,the cost of Webramp with the solution several other Silicon Investor Participants use. They use a network interface card in each computer, a modem connected to one of the two computers and software like WinProxy or Wingate to share the modem between the two computers. As I understand it WinProxy or Wingate is only required to run on one of the two PCs, the Win 98 PC in your case. If this is true then it shouldn't mattter if one of the PCs was a Mac. If not please correct my misunderstanding.
