Hopefully, Betting Inc, will be able to extend this phone solution to any mobile GSM phone system out there.

You mentioned another joint venture. I assume you are referring to something between Newcom Technologies, ET&T and Betting. Actually, there are a lot of GSM companies. Others manufactures that come to mind which are more widely known and used than Newcom are Motorola, Nokia, Ericssion and Hitachi. Hopefully, the system developed by ET&T and Betting will be transferable to these other GSM phone systems. I guess what I'm saying is that if a joint venture is announced with Newcom, then Betting may have picked the wrong horse. Since there are many other companies out there with deeper pockets and strong legs to carry it than Newcom.

Actually, if you want to be on the cutting edge, something with a PalmPilot should be in order. biz.yahoo.com I suggest Hughes talk to 3Com and Motorola. The PalmPilot could hold a data base for the sport in question, say like horse times and distances, etc. Anyway, I'm just throwing out some ideas to kick around.

Here's hoping Betting provides more direction about its near term plans. After all, Betting announced in March that it would be beginning a trial in April. As far as I know, they have never released an update on that trial. I believe it has yet to begin for some reason or another. As investors we have the right to know and these people should be taken to task for not following up their PR or else it will turn to BS. And, if we don't hold their feet to the fire, we'll be in for more days like today.

I don't particularly enjoy talking to Anita, she seems to try to get you to hang-up once the tough questions begin. Anybody else have reservations about her? Let's hear 'em!
