David,
A) Do you have any idea what it costs to put out a press release?
B) With the exception of the stock price, there is no negative news to report. Unfortunately, small-caps are not in favour and attracting very little investment as large-caps continue to move ahead.
C) Want to know about specific programs? Just ask the questions you want answered. Everybody who asks a question gets an honest answer.
D) We aren't concerned with legal indemnity, we are concerned with being honest. By printing off a DISCLOSURE statement, we are DISCLOSING our position. Thus, readers are able to accurately asses our information.
E) Sorry, we don't conduct anyone's due diligence and we never claim to. This is the e-commerce industry and developments are sometime confusing, even for those in the industry. We provide information for the purposes of EDUCATING investors. VNE does not hype. AGORA does not hype. We EDUCATE investors who then make an informed decision.
F) "...activities are aimed purely at keeping their clients' shareholders and prospective shareholders informed about their company. These activities consist of providing investors with previously disclosed factual information concerning the company, comments from company principals,..." If you did not know that our information came from speaking to company principals, you're the first one in 9 months to say so.
G) No, we ask the questions, they answer them. No, we decide when to file a report, which usually follows a press release. See the pattern? If they can't answer a question due to disclosure requirements, they do not answer them. VNE principals are running a company, if they wanted to hype their stock, we both know there are ample services out there willing and able to do the job. Thus, they don't "tell us what and when" to say anything.
H) Yes, you need people like us on this thread to make sure only the facts are presented and to ensure the thread does not get infected by unscrupulous market players who like to mislead the general public.
I) The question is, do we need people like you on this thread? People like you who swoop in when the price of the stock is falling, in an effort to "protect" the rest of us. People like you who don't ask or contribute anything constructive, just another arm chair QB who can tell us all what to do once the stock has fallen in price. Yes, we know, you were a "lurker" all this time and "followed the progress of this company" but never asked a question of us, the company or other posters.
J) Predicition. Suddenly, 2 or 3 of your friends will come in out of nowhere and say: "Yes, we have been lurking also and now that DML has made a statement, we want to express our concurrence".
David, if you want to ask a question, ask the question. Ask two or three questions. If the answers don't satisfy you, then express your concern. If your answers uncover an inherent problem with the company, then express that concern as well. THAT is what true prudent investors do. THAT is what this forum is for.
Just don't pretend to be the "lurking white Knight who never posted", who "thankfully did not invest in company XXX" and "now wants to rally all the posters here" because we know more about this game then you do. Posters don't need you to "show them the light" because they can make their own decisions. Show a little respect.
Now, as we have seen you post on other threads, "let's get back to the business at hand, what effects the stock price of (VNE)". Regards.
