HI Monty, The reason your having the problem is not QPV. It is MSWIN and Equis. I don't have that problem, because I leave it as the default chart, (the one I never close.) I did have to recreate it when I closed it then closed MSWIN. I guess equis couldn't figure a way to save composites if you close the chart with them on it. Arctic Mike
