Skeets, The big question is, what the heck happens at the end of 1999 to make DRAM rebound. So far, I see demand growth in units declining as supply grows more efficient, i.e., the current fabs are kicking out more crapola than ever before. With Merced not due until late in 2000, and that still looks like a non-event, I don't see anything in the microeconomic world to save the day. Macroeconomically, perhaps we go Smoot-Hawley to save MU. Too bad we don't have an FDR on the scene to pull our bacon out of the fire, if that's the case. <G>
