Monty: Can't say I've run into that problem. The composites are in my directory of indexes, and updating doesn't remove them. You're not outputting new lists to the directories where you have your composites, are you, and replacing the older lists? I assume you're just updating the lists, and that shouldn't delete the composite securities.

I save templates in Metastock for the composite indexes, too, and they survive updating. You're not losing the templates -- just the composites, right?
