Dang! What a day to be away from a computer and a phone! Because there are so many new posts, I have glanced down the list and read the "headline" of posts, but have not read all of them. Therefore, what I am going to say has probably already been said by some here.
I did read the news release, and had to chuckle when I did. Is it just me, or is it kind of funny that last night there were several posts made regarding share count that showed how tightly held the "p" still is, and today there is this? While I am not a military expert, isn't the most common way to defeat an "enemy" to divide and conquer?
In my opinion, it may have been a mistake to publicly post that, because I feel we may have tipped our hand to those who have ill intent for this stock. I don't know if it was wrong or not. I will have to think about that one.
As far as the emotion displayed here today, it appears from what I have read that today was one of the worst! (whew...glad I wasn't here when it was going on!) I think people just need to chill out. It is very easy (and very harmful) to jump to conclusions about things before all the facts are on the table. However, it accomplishes nothing.
My conclusion is this...There is NOTHING any of us can do about ANY of this stuff now, and until it comes out in a court of law, we WON'T have the answers that so many folks here have made their obsession. Now I can sit here and whine and moan about it, and let it obsess my every thought, and devote my entire life to it, OR, I can chill out, look for the next stock, and try to make back the money I lost. Then, if all the Midland stuff is settled favorably for the shareholders (Which I firmly believe it will), it will be like a bonus.
What I refuse to do, however, is doubt the DD that was done on this company, not only by Gary, but by many others here, myself included. I may have a paper loss at this time because someone did some alleged hanky panky with the shares, but I damn sure do not have a loss because the DD wasn't done. We all did everyting we could on this stock, and all we can do now is wait to see what happens. Tom Petty was right...The waiting always is the hardest part.
Haven't sold a share, and not gonna either.
