The stock price, in my opinion, reflects general pessimism. Netscape promised renovations to their web site, but have they delivered? Their current Netcenter site is quite ordinary at best; the beta site doesn't come even close to other major Internet players' portal sites. And besides, no email or personalization yet, no message boards etc. OK, talk is good but seeing is believing and we haven't seen much, at least yet. Their 60 day project is yet to produce any awe-inspiring results either. My concern is that, for whatever reason, Netscape may be taking too long in making decisions. The gap between them and their fast paced competitors, already quite wide, may soon become out of reach.
