Ah, but I think the question was, what if the information is true? In my book, if the info is true, it's my job as an investor to decide what to do with it.

Let's say someone's hyping ARF. They say "it's a great buy, sure to go up, PE of only 32 and 5% earnings growth! And that fraud suit filed against the company by 42 attorneys general is bound to be settled since such suits usually are! Bound to double!" If I buy, that's my own fault. We're all responsible for analyzing the information given. As long as they tell me who they are and give me correct data and information, I have no gripe.
