Pat,

Would one Irishman kid another? Never! Now, about those football picks, don't bet money on the Jets unless they are playing the Oilers. On a happier note: Rockets & Bulls in the Championship games. I'll take the Rockets. How's that for seeing into the future? Am I going to hear it from the Chicago crowd, or what?

About that market share: USRX now has a 30-35% market share. I think Oppenheimer did a complete write-up on the two companies. Go to USRX, Just the Facts thread. It's published there. Rockwell didn't do too well at the Comdex meeting. They got some bad press about their modem not being ready. USRX is willing to work with the other modem makers so not one company will have the standard. We are waiting for other companies to come out, like Dell did, to commit to an association with USRX. I believe Toshiba will be next. We'll see. AOL, Compuserve are all in.

I can't believe that Compaq is willing to lose market share to Dell over this? Maybe they are relying on the public not knowing about the faster modem connections? Who knows? Of course, there are about 10 people on this earth who don't want to be browsing the net. So they wouldn't need a faster connection either. Having fun.
