Good news for GIC! ATT and TCI merging...why is this good? Because this merger will undoubtably accelerate the deployment of internet access through cable modems, and the TCI/GIC deal will be a BENEFICIARY of this merger. Just as @Home is benefitting because of it's content deals, GIC will benefit from it's set-top box deals. ATT is in alot more homes than TCI, so if I was betting, I'd have to say this original TCI/GIC box quantity will be increased to reflect this.
