Hey! Great to see a thread on NSU! I like NSU for having three pretty solid properties and a pile of cash. I am enthused about its prospects longer term. From conversations with NSU's IR team, I believe they have had some enquiries from major companies looking to do jvs with them but these to date have not been on sufficiently attractive terms. I honestly don't know whether these were just casual enquiries or more formal proposals. The weakness over the last couple days I think can be attributed to month-end. For whatever reason, NSU bids seem to evaporate and spreads widen considerably at month end more than on most stocks. I have been an NSU shareholder for almost a year--with nice profits, and added a little more the otehr day at 8.10 (shoulda waited another day!). I think that NSU may see some tax selling in December (after all, the stock was up at 17 earlier in the year) unless they can rekindle some excitement. Such weakness would imho provide a wonderful buying opportunity. Folks interested in NSU can call them toll-free at 1-888-600-2200, ask for Don Halliday.
