Dunno, but this puts TCI in play and that probably means T will wind up paying more, and that has to mean the acquisition will be even more dilutive in the short run. Actually, without checking I'm fairly sure TCI has never made a dime in actual profit. However, it is a cash cow and the losses I believe are mostly attributable to very high depreciation entries owing to the expensive capital installation base. This is going to make projecting T profits in future quarters a nasty problem for analysts. Is the matrix shifting? Will T be valued in the future less on actual profits and more on cash flow or earnings? I think so.
