Gary,

I agree that sometimes the best thing for a company to do is to keep quiet and do their business(AVBC for example). You do have to admit, however, that people are told to "do your own DD" and "don't trust the DD of others." This naturally leads to more people making more phone calls and tying up valuable company resources in the meantime.

So, where is the balance?? Do we farm out the DD to the ones who we know are capable of digging deep and then "trusting" their DD when we have been told over and over to "trust no one"?

I am only asking this because I want to find the right mix so that we can verify without everyone hammering away on the phones to companies who would just like to go about their business. I know these companies do not want to ignore investors, but there is a limit that we need to look for so that they do not get harassed.

In the end, we will end up having to trust someone won't we?

Ray
