"There are only a few comparable facilities in the world," Orbital spokesman Barron Beneski said. "Most of the satellite manufacturing today is done in California and Arizona. This really puts Virginia and Loudoun County on the map.",,,
David W. Thompson, Orbital's chief executive, said the company, which now employs 550 at its headquarters, needs to expand its facilities to keep up with its rapid growth.
