Well let me tell you what I think of WRQ. I started downloading it last night, when I noticed it posted on the thread some time after 11.pm I then went to bed. This morning around 7 am: it was finished. Well, long story short, now I had to fire up an old 386 I have just to connect to the net now.
why?
because after installing, well I should say starting to install, the system crashed. I hit the shift-alt-del, and restarted. tried to load up windows.
guess what.. win.com...gone. nothing left, but gobletigook.
so..I type in scandisk to see what happened...poof...locked up
shift alt del.
A 386. A 386. Do you know how long SI takes to load on a 386. Forget real time quotes. By the time the screen loads, million shares have traded.
I think the 386 is grounds for a lawsuit alone.
please insert disk with command.com
that's what I think of WRQ.
My COMputer friend is reloading everything right now from Tape Backup.
That stupid WRQ program did something, only I don't have the slightest idea what, because I just turn on the stupid computer, point, and click.
And no I did not get a virus. Dave already checked for that, and I have Mcaffee running all the time.
If you computer Gurus know what went wrong your help would be appreciated. As for WRQ...NO WAY!
Oh yes. They sent me a lovely email too! |
