El, The silly browser her at work won't let me copy the link address. Look at some of the news items. NW WASHINGTON, June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Compaq Computer Corporation (NYSE: CPQ), along with Microsoft Corporation (Nasdaq: MSFT), Aerial Images, and the United States Geological Survey (USGS), today announced Microsoft TerraServer, a massive, online database representing the world's most comprehensive collection of cartographic images available to consumers and businesses via the Internet.
Microsoft TerraServer consumers will, for the first time, have access to new detailed satellite photos that will allow them to view their neighborhoods, vacation spots and other locations from space at a resolution never before available. In the imagery a viewer can distinguish objects as small as two meters across--detailed enough to see a truck or a car, or to spot a house in a photo taken from space. |
