Kerry, be assured I am not betting AGAINST the problems MU is facing! Quite the contrary, my entire position with MU right now is puts. To be honest, however, I expected to be more ahead by now than I am. I fully expect December's earning report to restore some reality to MU's stock price, i.e. mid-20's at the most.

Re Fidelity funds acting in concert as a type of rigging, since they have various investment objectives and stock selection criteria, I doubt if such would be likely to happen on a widespread basis across many or most of their funds. And since they would eventually need to unwind their positions, could they really expect the market to absorb such large selling unless the company had more going for itself to begin with? Maybe, but seems to me there are better bets Fidelity could make than MU (other than a long-shot, turn-around situation). <g>
