ratan lal - SEEC's CEO Ravi Koka is well-liked by analysts, performed well on CNBC squawkbox (Re.: Nanda). SYNT, IMRS, and CBSL all have Indians as CEO's. They are all doing well. US businesses are investing heavily in China, India, etc. They rely on US-trained foreign business persons. If you have attempted to start a venture in India, you know what I mean. US-trained business persons have to learn to deal with Europeans, Japanese, etc. Inside US corporations, many multinationals are promoting diversity because of the global nature of their business. Of course, there is discrimination everywhere - sex, race, etc. I have found that solid performers get recognized more in US than in any other part of the world. Just my opinion. Ram |
