John: Re: user friendly in regards to WRQ product.

The install process was very simple. It was a self-extracting installation program, with dialog boxes typical of Windows applications. It even informed me I wasn't installing on a network so I'd know that the network functionality was disabled.

The documentation (Acrobat format) was well written, with ample descriptions of the functionality, the features, and the detailed usage of buttons, options, etc.

I recommend that you download WRQ and try it yourself. Just be aware that it will take a while to download. But, if I remember correctly, you have a cable modem and it shouldn't take long at all (relatively). You'll probably want to run it on your older machine, just in case there really is something funny with the installation process. I doubt it, though.
