I think it's the big money that is schizophrenic, the individual investors just keep dollar cost averaging into their 401Ks, and buying on the dips. The pendulum always swings too far, and in this case I think the semis have been savaged beyond reason, creating unusual opportunities. I'm glad it works this way, otherwise there'd be no bargains.
