John, would you please do me a favor? Very seriously, actually do it, and it will probably be the hardest thing you have ever done. If you even attempt to do it, the phone will ring, the dog will bark, you will be instantly so hungry for a pizza you will never remember a time you wanted to go get a pizza more than at this moment, or maybe even if that doesn't work, the water main will burst and you will have to go fix it.

But just read John 14 through l7 quickly once. Then the next day read it again quickly once. Then the next day read as long as you can concentrate, and maybe even shorten that down to the Holy Spirit chapter, 16.

I believe that the reading of John is a divine experience, and God entrusted John with the words of Jesus, to where there would never be any doubt for anyone. Jesus, our precious Lord and Savior specifically refers to the Holy Spirit as "he", not it. That is profoundly significant, since all "he" does is miracles and reprograms your messed up human mind to receive the thoughts of Christ in God.

There was a solid year I did not read another word in the Bible. Just John 14 through 17 over and over and over and the more I read the more I saw, and then finally, one day, I suddenly didn't feel like reading that particular 3 pages any more.

Now I feel like getting back into it. Hopefully, I will.
