Unfortunatly I didn't see the interview but there seems to be various versions as to that how he replied to the question on the buyout/merger. The only thing that he apparently did not say was that there was absolutely no buyout/merger talks going on at present.
I would have thought that if there was nothing going on in the background that he would have categorically denied the rumour if not before now at least on TV.

Any other opinions?
