All, Armstrong and Mallone have stated today that their voice provisioning strategy will include IP Telephony, over both Cable and Wireless Local Loop. AT&T has been steadily perfecting four (4) IP Voice channels per link over WLL, to be exact, is what Mallone referenced, when asked about some specific infrastructure-based service projections that the new merged company would offer.

Any thoughts on this, as to what it means to the rest of the nascent VoIP industry?
