Doby,
"I'm not accusing anyone and there's no proof of any scam but how does the club
member know he's not being had?"

He dosen't. That is the beauty of this type of investment scam.It is a different version of "Pump and Dump".Mcdo and his buddies position themselves. They pump it with stay tuned for next pick.Review of the guidlines.Disclaimer to protect themselves in case someone challenges them legally(although I doubt it). Then further hype the night before.Next day they sell into the buying.
Nice scam if it works and if it flops it will be McMoney or some other name the next time when this one gets flopped.
This is Not the definition of an investment club as I know them.Just pump and dump with the use of that name.Usually, an investment club picks a number of stocks to do DD on. Then members take turns presenting each one so they become specialists in that stock and the rest of the members are informed. The club then makes an investment decision with a quorum and calls a broker or uses a discount broker to make the buy.THE CLUB MEMBERS HAVE A SAY
Not this I will tell you what I want you to buy tomorrow thing that McDo has going.
