I believe strongly that they must be discussed. Unless an investigator feels that such comment would be detrimental to the search for the source. Such tactics must not be seen to win, if they win we all lose the freedom to speak our minds without fear of retaliation. It was just pointed out to me in a PM that it has not been clearly proven at this point that the threats originated from a card-carrying Rocketeer. I probably needed to hear that. But the relative lack of condemnation of those threats from said Rocketeers fills me with disquiet about the future of SI. Too many found the idea amusing and useful to their purpose.
