Me Droogies: I threw out those basis statistics as merely as reference point to evaluate the ease with which ORCL could acquire MANU, notwithstanding the likely drag on its stock price until the benefits of such a deal would become evident to ORCL's bottom line. Put yourself in the shoes (no longer white, these days) of an investment banker rather than an accountant. Sure its nice to have the cash to pay for such an acquisition outright. But if you were to finance the deal, there wouldn't be a problem. The bigger question, as I alluded to before, is -- does it make sense? Did enough talking here, today. Gotta go.
