Paul, I'm a scientist just like you. I had the same problems you did with the Bible. But, it was bec. I listened to heresay instead of researching it myself. When I examined facts for myself then "the gap" cleared up all the issues. It uses only the Bible to place the order of events. It is not new since Moses, Isiah, Jerimiah, Jesus, Paul and others all beleived the gap theory. Jesus even said He saw Satan cast to earth like ligthing... since this happened billions of years ago then the earth had to be billions of yrs old. Jesus actually created Lucifer. Col chapter one talks about that. Lucifer's creation and fall is described in Isiah 14 and eze 28. And the first Garden of Eden is talked about in Eze 28. Anyway, examine facts for yourself don't take heresay as evidence..that's not the scientific methodology anyway.. The material I talked about points you to scripture it isn't additional writings or additional scriptures. Jeff didn't respond to my request bec. i don't think he even knows what the gap theory is.
