From day to day I'm never sure what's going to happen in the market, especially with semis and semi-equips. I think some of the semi-equips (like AMAT) are at bargain prices, but I'm reluctant to invest because I think there is very likely more bad news coming for a few months yet. Maybe AMAT has recovered somewhat because people think AMAT is in a good position to take business from the other smaller, struggling semi-equip makers. G.P.
