Bill C: Cable companies don't have to capital to provide 2-way high-speed internet in the near future. Just look at their debts. RBOC will keep on whining until ISPs threaten to leave for some other channel (cable or wireless, it's unlikely though). Therefore xDSL might still have a long way to go. The analyst mentioned "there are other problems with ADSL ..." I'd like to know what are the problems. Cable modems ain't cheap either. e. ps. Barron's online is only free for this moment, wait for the bill after you're hooked.
