I think essentially we are actually in agreement. Recall that I stated that there was an issue, but that I did not agree with FDA's final decision. The fact of the matter is very clear, however, that DRMD's product is NOT identical to Premarin. I don't think that should have kept it off the market, and neither do you, but the fact remains that the products are not identical.
My point is that, overall, FDA does a good job. Do they sometimes respond to political pressure? Yes. Are they overworked? Yes. But I get tired of seeing the FDA blamed on SI threads for just about every disapproval. Ergoset was a joke, DepoTech got what they deserved, etc. Let's not blame the FDA every time.
