Techie and others: Sorry for disturbing the "peace" in this group. The very first post all I said was AMTX is too expensive, then John started to imply I'm too young (thank you), inexperienced, new
to the market, etc. Then people started to talk about the original of the name amati, how much they love John Cioffi (I respect him, but it's my money). All these are nonsense. Now someone asked me to reveal my identity, I can tell you my mother's maiden name, but does that make you trust me more? My email box is already filled with junk mail. Now, someone started to say I'm not an engineer, maybe not a PhD, well, everything I post is truth. I earned my degree from a top 5 EE
program, my advisor and all my committee members are IEEE fellows, but I didn't find a Fellow on Forbe's 400 richest Americans list. So what's the point for telling up you videotaped John's IEEE fellow award ceremony?? You can make your judgement, but don't try to hurt people who disagree.
The very definition for information is the uncertainty, i.e., we come here to explore different opinions. If every post says the same thing as you want to hear, sure it makes you feel good, but
doesn't help your investment. As mature adults, we should always be open to different opinions, then make your own judgement. Attacking those who disagree won't do anyone any good.
I enjoy peaceful discussions, but I don't waste my time on flames. AMTX has great potentials (synonym: great risks), at what price should one pay? One should base her/his investment strategy on facts, nothing else.
