Chromatics Color Sciences Further Responds on CPT Code

NEW YORK, June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Chromatics Color Sciences International, Inc. (Nasdaq: CCSI - news) announced that

after issuing a press release on Tuesday the Company was informed today by its consultants, Health Systems Concepts and Dr. Paul Raslavicus, Chairman of Pathology, Boston Regional Medical Center and former member of the American Medical Association's CPT Editorial Panel, regarding subsequent information on the CPT Code for the Company's neonatal bilirubin test.

Following a review conducted by the CPT Laboratory Advisors committee which resulted in the committee advising confirmation of CPT 82250 for the test performed by the Company's device, Health Systems Concepts has been notified by the AMA that this is now being forwarded to the CPT Executive Committee for review at their August meeting and that until the August meeting, CPT 84999 is the Code to be used by the Company.

Chromatics Color Sciences is in the business of color science.....

Other medical applications will require additional clinical trials and FDA clearance......
