"An upgrade from Deustche is huge. They are the most influential brokerage that follows Wind and they do most of Wind's business on the Nasdaq. I would expect a prolonged rally. "

Few major firms cover WIND, so Deutsche Bank Securities is by default one of the most influential firms covering the company. Nonetheless, although the DBS Tech Group is highly regarded, it's no surprise that they had positive things to say about WIND. Considering the companies'r long-standing banking relationship (DBS was the lead underwriter for WIND's IPO), it's no suprise that DBS came to WIND's rescue after a significant correction as well as yesterday's UBS downgrade . I'd acknowledge that this analyst (Mike Kwatinetz) is one of the top 2 analysts covering MSFT (other than Rich Sherlund, of Goldman Sachs), and that he still really likes WIND is welcome news considering the perception that MSFT is/could be one of WIND's top competitors. The upgrade coupled with one of the best point gains in Nasdaq history resulted in a powerful gain. I highly doubt the stock would have moved as much w/o the strong market momentum.
