BellBoy,

I sure hope you are right about the T, TCI merger getting the others moving. I was visiting with my stepson this weekend and he told me that he recently got hooked up with a cable modem. He lives in College Station, Tx. He said that they guaranteed him 400,000 bps downstream and that he has at times been getting over 1 gbps. All this for $40/month. I am not sure but I think his cable supplier is TCI. Any way this particular cable operator was testing cable modems in 3 Texas cities, Bryan-College Station, Amarillo and one other who I forget.

Let the wars begin<g>

Scott
