IBM once was a de facto standard on the desk top. Then Microsoft aligned with Compaq etc... Don't see many PS/2's around anymore.

Don't see anyone running IOS other than Cisco. There are at least 50 vendors running Phase2.

( BTW, what the F is IOS anyway? ) There are so many different versions running on different platforms that I wouldn't consider it a product. Here is the litmus test, can you call Cisco and purchase IOS to run on that new ABC box you're developing?
