Do you really think Cisco would attempt to take over Nortel? I for one have a tough time seeing them digest 70,000 employees. What would the street think? Clearly their inflated stock would take a tremendous hit.

I have no doubt that Chambers intention was to date not marry NT. When he got the voice stuff he needed, cut the cord with no divorce decree.
