how do you define "thin air" ? on monday "NON big buyers" accounted for approximately 95,000 shares. of those the average trade was 500 shares. there were ALOT of transactions, and it was the small guy that drove the price up. yesterday they accounted for more. in total over 500,000 shares traded, and midland crossed almost all of the blocks. today, of course, there were only 35000 shares traded and the average trade was 250 shares.
